BandTime records how long a cranial band has been worn: one tap when it goes on, one when it comes off, with the daily total, the history and a PDF report for the next appointment. Write to timkrechel@googlemail.com and you will get a reply from the person who wrote the app.

Two things worth knowing before you ask: sessions, notes and photos live on your device only, so reinstalling the app without a device backup loses them. And the break reminder needs notification permission — if you declined it, the timer still works, only the reminder stays silent.

BandTime is not a medical device. It records the wear time you enter. It gives no medical advice, suggests no goals or schedules, and makes no judgement about the therapy. Questions about fit, skin or wear time belong to the clinician treating your child.

Privacy Policy

BandTime collects no data. Nothing leaves the device.

There is no account, no server and no analytics. Everything you enter — sessions, goals, skin check notes and photos — stays in the app's own storage on your iPhone. The app contains no networking code at all.

• No data collection: the app does not collect, store or transmit any personal or usage data, and it holds nothing about your child on any server, because there is none.
• No network connections: BandTime works the same in airplane mode as it does at home. There is no cloud sync, not even between two parents' phones.
• Camera and photos: BandTime asks for camera access only when you photograph a skin check. Picking an existing photo goes through Apple's system picker, which hands over the one image you chose without giving the app access to your library. Photos stay in the app and are deliberately left out of the PDF report, so sharing the report never shares a picture of your child.
• Notifications: the break reminder is scheduled locally by your iPhone. No server is involved, and nothing about the reminder leaves the device.
• Health data: BandTime does not read from or write to Apple Health. The wear times stay inside the app.
• Purchases: BandTime is a paid app with no in-app purchases and no subscription. Buying it happens entirely in the App Store, under Apple's privacy policy; the app itself contains no purchasing code and never sees your payment details.
• Export: the PDF export creates a file you decide about. BandTime sends it nowhere; where it goes is up to you in the share sheet.
• Children: the app is used by parents, and the data it holds describes a child. That is exactly why none of it is collected, transmitted or shared. BandTime is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone, at any age.

Because BandTime processes no personal data outside your own device, there is nothing for us to share, sell or delete on your behalf. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.

BandTime hält fest, wie lange eine Kopforthese getragen wurde: ein Tipp beim Aufsetzen, einer beim Absetzen, dazu die Tagessumme, der Verlauf und ein PDF-Bericht für den nächsten Termin. Schreib an timkrechel@googlemail.com — es antwortet die Person, die die App geschrieben hat.

Zwei Dinge vorab: Sitzungen, Notizen und Fotos liegen ausschließlich auf deinem Gerät, eine Neuinstallation ohne Backup verliert sie also. Und die Pausenerinnerung braucht die Benachrichtigungs-Erlaubnis — hast du sie abgelehnt, läuft der Timer weiter, nur die Erinnerung bleibt stumm.

BandTime ist kein Medizinprodukt. Die App zeichnet die Tragezeit auf, die du einträgst. Sie gibt keine medizinischen Empfehlungen, schlägt keine Ziele oder Pläne vor und bewertet die Therapie nicht. Fragen zu Sitz, Haut oder Tragezeit gehören zu der Ärztin oder dem Arzt, die dein Kind behandeln.

Datenschutzerklärung

BandTime erhebt keine Daten. Nichts verlässt das Gerät.

Es gibt kein Konto, keinen Server und keine Analyse-Werkzeuge. Alles, was du einträgst — Sitzungen, Ziele, Hautkontroll-Notizen und Fotos —, bleibt im Speicherbereich der App auf deinem iPhone. Die App enthält überhaupt keinen Netzwerkcode.

• Keine Datenerhebung: Die App erfasst, speichert und überträgt keinerlei personenbezogene Daten oder Nutzungsdaten. Zu deinem Kind liegt auf keinem Server etwas, weil es keinen gibt.
• Keine Netzwerkverbindungen: Im Flugmodus funktioniert BandTime genauso wie zu Hause. Es gibt keine Cloud-Synchronisation, auch nicht zwischen den Telefonen zweier Eltern.
• Kamera und Fotos: BandTime fragt nur dann nach Kamerazugriff, wenn du eine Hautkontrolle fotografierst. Beim Auswählen eines vorhandenen Fotos übergibt Apples System-Auswahl ausschließlich das eine gewählte Bild, ohne der App Zugriff auf deine Mediathek zu geben. Fotos bleiben in der App und stehen bewusst nicht im PDF-Bericht — wer den Bericht weitergibt, gibt also nie ein Bild seines Kindes mit.
• Benachrichtigungen: Die Pausenerinnerung plant dein iPhone lokal. Kein Server ist beteiligt, und nichts davon verlässt das Gerät.
• Gesundheitsdaten: BandTime liest nicht aus Apple Health und schreibt nicht dorthin. Die Tragezeiten bleiben in der App.
• Käufe: BandTime ist eine Kauf-App ohne In-App-Käufe und ohne Abo. Der Kauf läuft vollständig im App Store ab, dafür gilt Apples Datenschutzerklärung; die App selbst enthält keinen Kauf-Code und sieht deine Zahlungsdaten nie.
• Export: Der PDF-Export erzeugt eine Datei, über die du selbst entscheidest. BandTime verschickt sie nirgendwohin; wohin sie geht, bestimmst du im Teilen-Dialog.
• Kinder: Die App benutzen Eltern, und die Daten darin beschreiben ein Kind. Genau deshalb wird davon nichts erhoben, übertragen oder weitergegeben. BandTime richtet sich nicht an Kinder und erhebt von niemandem personenbezogene Daten, unabhängig vom Alter.

Da BandTime keine personenbezogenen Daten außerhalb deines Geräts verarbeitet, gibt es nichts, was wir weitergeben, verkaufen oder in deinem Auftrag löschen könnten. Wer die App löscht, entfernt damit alles, was sie gespeichert hat.
